SimCity on Super Nintendo is one of the first games designed by Will Wright, known for The Sims. You embody the mayor of a city and have to make the inhabitants happy so that they do not see you. The first game mode makes you start from zero, with all the buildings and infrastructure to build. In the Catastrophe mode, you take over a city already built and face natural disasters, as well as riots and other unexpected events.
