Game Mechanics

The aim being to destroy all its enemies, there are destructive weapons that are more or less conventional, ranging from bazooka, to the rifle, to the shotgun or the explosive sheep.

These weapons remove life from the affected worm(s); reducing the living points of enemy worms being the main way to win. However, lombrics can also be sent to the water where they drown immediately. Some weapons are planned for that, like the very used baseball bat. Getting a worm out of the game limits also eliminates it.

An inventory of tools also allows you to dig the decor, grab the wall or land mines. A "history" mode saw the day after, and finally the 3D made its appearance in the last opus.

Violence (although relative) is at the rendezvous but the atmosphere created allows access to the game to the youngest.

Thanks to numerous sales (more than a million copies of the first opus around the world), the publisher was able to do a large amount of suites.
