About game

History

hostile spaceships blame your mothership! You have 3 hunter squads to defend it. Follow the enemy positions on your radar, launch your hunters and engage in battle! Target the ships and destroy them with your missiles, but be careful, they're responding! You're the only one who can save the mother ship from disaster.

Game Mechanics

  • Phase “radar» :

The game screen represents a radar screen, with its distance lines, and in the center the position of the mothership to defend. Five enemy fleets get close. From this screen, it is possible to follow their position, order one of the three squadrons (blue, white and gold) to intercept a target, or ask them to return to the mothership. When one of the squads comes into contact with an enemy fleet, it starts flashing and the player has the opportunity to enter the combat phase. If an enemy reaches the central area, it starts firing on the mothership: an alarm sounds (more and more quickly) and the player then has only a few seconds to intercept and destroy it, under penalty of game over.

  • Phase “combat» :

The screen passes to a view to the first person in the battlefield. A green viewfinder, which can be directed to the directional pavement, represents the space fighter's viewfinder. The side buttons allow to launch a missile to the viewfinder. It is then necessary to destroy all the ships that appear on the screen to return to the radar screen. They can respond by sending two missiles (represented by two coarse red rectangles) that make one of the squadron hunters lose if they hit the viewfinder.

The game takes place in real time. Thus, while the player is in a combat phase, enemy fleets continue to move, and player squads can come in contact with them. An automatic fight then takes place in the background, whose outcome is often to the player's disadvantage.
